6. Arrested

If I’m arrested, the police should explain what’s happening and their reasons for arresting me.

You cannot be arrested if you’re under 10 years old.

You should not be arrested at school or college, unless this is unavoidable.

You should be taken straight to a police station, unless you’re de-arrested.
